From 1st August 2018 all prescription requests are to be handed in to the Surgery or ordered via Patient Access Online. We do not take prescription requests over the phone. If you would like to register for Patient Access, please come into the Surgery and we can set up an account.
We no longer accept requests via your Pharmacist and we do not take prescription requests over the telephone. If you require an exemption form, please speak to your pharmacist.
Patients who are on regular medication may request further repeat prescriptions by post or in person. WE DO NOT TAKE MEDICATIONS REQUESTS OVER THE PHONE.
Alternatively you can order online via Patient Access or bring your prescription request into the Surgery. New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using the service.
Please allow 5 working days before collecting your repeat prescriptions.
Some of the local pharmacies collect repeat prescriptions from the surgery daily and will have the medicines ready for collection 5 days after the request has been received at the surgery. Please let us know if you would like to use this service. Other medication that is NOT on repeat should be ordered at the Surgery only and not at the Pharmacy. Prescriptions that require re-authorisation by a GP or ones with requests for changes in medication will take up to 5 working days to process.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. All patients on high risk medications will be monitored closely by our Pharmacist
